Vanessa is a food writer, PhD researcher and creative working to reimagine our ‘way of food’ for healthy people and planet. Vanessa is a published author, with her second book – Motherfood (Bateman Books, Oct 2022), exploring how our foodways permeate and shape life from long before pregnancy to long after birth. British-born, Vanessa lives, writes, cooks and grows with her family on beautiful Boon Wurrung Country, in Victoria, Australia.
